The Niners lost to the Chargers on Thu., in what was a rematch of the 1995 SuperBowl and the Niners really showed up. They had more net yards than San Diego, with 293 and they had 20 first downs.
The kicker Joe Nedney kicked field goals ranging from 28 yds to 48 yds, which is solid for the special teams. And they also had more rushing net yards than the Chargers.
They completely dominated the Charger’s D Thursday night, and this is a sign of things to come. Down below is a recap of the game as told by Matt Maiocco.
